This is what the Fair Trees Fund supported in 2019

In 2019, the Fair Trees Fund was delighted to be able to support a wide range of activities in Ambrolauri in Georgia. These are activities that promote learning, health and education. The projects are in line with the fund’s work under the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Disaster management training

In partnership with the Red Cross, the Fair Trees Fund managed a project in 2019 in which children were provided with know-how and first-aid skills with which to handle potential disasters.

Consolidated education

The SOS Children’s Villages are an important partner for the Fair Trees Fund. In 2019, the fund provided orphans in Ambrolauri with financial support for a family house where the provision of care and a safe environment contribute to creating a solid foundation for the children’s future.

Cancer screening and health checks

Promotion of health is high on the Fair Trees Fund agenda. In 2019, the fund provided financial support for a health project where women are offered breast cancer screening. The fund has also offered children in the Ambrolauri region health checks again this year.
