Donation Easter 2009

At Easter 2009, the Bols Xmas Tree Fund could for the first time go to Georgia bringing a donation. The donations were given to three schools in the poor rural districts of Georgia, where the children were taught in rooms with no doors, allowing the cold wind to enter. Thanks to these donations, new doors and other basic necessities have been provided.
Furthermore, the more than 600 children in the schools now have access to medical attention, after the Bols Xmas Tree Fund donated health insurance to all of the children.

Here you can read a Georgian school teacher’s account of the conditions at the schools.
